How much does filming cost?
The total price depends on your requirements and the optional services you choose. Please contact us for an exact quote.
When will we receive our finished film?
Post-production is a complex process, from selecting the right shots to achieving a perfect balance of colours and sound. We never want to rush our work at the expense of quality, and we generally deliver the finished film no later than four months after the wedding.
Why choose a second filmmaker?
A second filmmaker is the right choice for larger weddings where capturing every detail really matters to you. Another advantage is the ability to cut between footage from both cameras.
Are you willing to travel for a wedding? How much does travel cost?
We love travelling. We see it as a challenge and enjoy filming weddings in new locations. If your wedding is more than 500 km away, the travel price is agreed individually.
What does the filming package include?
We offer full-day wedding filming, with the option to add a pre-wedding film. Wedding filming includes up to 12 hours on the wedding day, aerial drone footage, editing, sound, colour grading of a 2–4 minute highlight film and a pre-wedding meeting. You can also add a wedding film lasting between 8 and 25 minutes, depending on the service you choose. Pre-wedding filming is arranged individually.
Can we choose the music for our film?
Every film is unique, and music is an important part of it. We therefore select the music ourselves, carefully choosing licensed tracks for each film. We also work with film producers, and for an additional fee you can have music composed specifically for your wedding highlight. For a longer film (documentary), the choice of tracks is yours.
Using the film in our portfolio
By having us film your wedding, you agree to the film being published for our own presentation, unless agreed otherwise in advance. This applies only to short films; half-hour films are, of course, private. This is our only form of promotion, and most clients approach us after seeing our published work online. If you do not want anyone else to see your film, that is possible, but it is treated as an additional service and incurs an extra charge.
What are the payment terms?
A booking fee of 20% of the total amount is payable when the contract is signed. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the wedding date.
Is the booking fee refundable?
The booking fee is non-refundable. By paying it, you reserve your date, and we commit to declining any other booking or private event on that date. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, the deposit remains non-refundable, but it can be transferred and deducted from the total price when reserving a new date.
How will we receive the final film?
The finished wedding films are delivered on a USB flash drive. They can also be sent electronically via the cloud storage service myairbridge.com, or as a link on youtube.com / vimeo.com.
Can we receive the raw footage?
Yes, raw footage is available for a fee according to our current price list, which we will send on request. Raw data is generally of little use to most ordinary users. It is the digital negative of the film and needs to be “developed”: the image is grey and lacks contrast, the sound is quiet, and it is in BRAW format, which can only be opened using specialist software for video post-production.
